Petrosino is a band from Italy, where David has a reputation as a composer, producer and band leader (such as Sailor Free and Handala) and counts many collaborations (among others Noà, Mauro Pagani, Not Moving, E Zezi, Acquaragiadrom). He has been active in Europe and took part in many Festivals and concerts (such as the 1° Maggio in Rome, the Gent Festival in Belgium, the Ronnie Scott in London or Fabrik Festival of Hamburg), always winning attention from public and critics.

Petrosino is now back with his new album "Slices", produced by Gianni Errera for the Independent record label ONE E MUSIC, and is supported by a line-up of outstanding musicians.

Slices is a solid Rock album, various and modern, supported by a remarkable rhythmic section, enriched with the guitars of Dome la Muerte (CCM, Not Moving, Diggers), and David on vocals and guitar. His characteristic voice and the lyrics, frequently focused on social issues, bring us on a journey across "others" point of view: "Our glance lays upon something apparently different, and that creates an impulsive attraction... suddenly we realize the limits of our own perspective, due to the "slice" of our viewpoint; and so I attempt to change my point of observation, placing myself in someone elses shoes, trying to feel what they feel" (D.P.)

Each of the 12 tracks of "Slices" tell a different story. The outer world and inner world are both dug, deeply. The result is a suggestive and energetic Rock album, where you can't help but feel the magic of the melodies, the rhythmic contamination, and the psychedelic tinge; that all join together to create an international and Rock Record.

David's strong belief in the freedom of communication, and his professional experience, gained through his working ventures all around Europe, make this project the representation of an open minded and free spirited musician.
